The I-130: step one to bringing your spouse to the U.S.
For most families, the path to a green card for a spouse begins with Form I-130, the Petition for Alien Relative. A U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident files the I-130 with USCIS to establish the qualifying marital relationship. Spouse petitions also require Form I-130A, which we prepare alongside the I-130 when applicable.
